Shana Dyer, a native of Nashville, has always known she wanted to make people feel beautiful. She has
been licensed for over 14 years and has a passion for color, cutting, waxing and bridal party hair and
makeup.
When she and her best friend, Eva Marie, opened Harlow, they knew they wanted it to be different than
any other salon in Nashville. Shana knew her dreams of owning a salon had come true the first day Harlow
was open for business. Pampering the client is what Shana is all about, and each day she comes to work
with a smile. She enjoys offering her clients a flexible schedule by working late nights and weekends to
ensure everyone is happy.
In November of 2006 Shana released her first instructional DVD titled
"Salon Secrets: Cosmetic Tips and
Tricks with Shana Dyer".
This 90-minute DVD features 5 full looks including the Dramatic, the Natural, The
Three-Minute Makeover and more. Learn how to properly wash your makeup brushes and even how to
FINALLY get that liquid eyeliner on correctly. Whether you're a novice or an expert, this DVD has
something for everyone, and even makes a great gift. Pick up your copy today at Harlow Salon or click
below to purchase online.

Shana has also won "Best Stylist" in the Nashville Scene's
"Best Of" contest for two years in a row.
Eva Marie has been a hairstylist for over 17 years. She began her career in her hometown of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, where she was trained in the hair industry.

Now living in Nashville for the last 14 years she has furthered her career and education to become a
prominent salon owner on Nashville's Historic Music Row along with Harlow's co-owner, Shana. Eva
specializes in bringing today's latest fashions in hair trends to her clients in a way that they can take home
with them and duplicate for themselves every day. Listening to her clients needs and lifestyles and
incorporating a look for them personally -- customizing their color and haircut or even extensions -- are
just a few of Eva Marie's talents.

She also specializes in permanent hair straightening and multi-dimensional hair color. Eva enjoys working
with clients in the salon and talents all over Nashville, whether it's just a trim or hair and makeup on
location for an upcoming video shoot!

"Find a passion...something you love to do for a living and you'll never
have to work another day in your life."
--- Eva Marie, Co-Owner/Stylist
Eva and Shana met at a large salon and day spa in 1999 and worked closely
providing hair and makeup services to people all over the Nashville area. In 2007
they decided to put their creative works together to be able to offer their clients
the best that the hair industry has to offer. Harlow is a salon on Music Row with
some of the most talented stylists in Nashville.

They also offer soothing music from the 30's and 40's, soft lighting, wine, and
hand and scalp massages. They knew their dream had become a reality when
they opened one of the most unique salons in Nashville.
The team at Harlow Salon attends several different hair classes and shows each year to keep up with the latest
trends and styles. Each time they visit a new city and learn a new technique they will be sure to share it with you!
Nashville native, Chris Pegram, brings 25+ years of salon experience to Harlow. As a corrective hair color specialist,
having the opportunity to correct the most challenging of heads is something he loves to do.

Chris spent 5 years as the Educational Director of the North Eastern U.S. for Goldwell International Hair Cosmetics.
While serving in that position, his credits included: International Stage Artist, numerous print and video shootings, and
the opportunity to teach hundreds of thousands of hairdressers the finer art of coloration.
As a psychology major, Chris uses his background to excel at consultation – thus ensuring the most satisfying salon
experience. "I think it's important for the client to know that, in my chair, I'm not afraid to share my knowledge and
experience", says Chris. "10% of great hair happens in the salon, the other 90% is what you take away from your
visit."

Chris is available for all of your hair care needs. As an owner of naturally curly hair, he caters to a clientele full of
"problem hair". All challenges are welcome!

Come experience the great feeling of knowing you've been heard, listened to, and given the customer service you
deserve.

Heather
Heather Day is a native of Pleasant Shade, TN. She is currently making her home in Hermitage, Tennessee with her
dog Marla. She serves as part time hairstylist and makeup artist for Shannon Fontaine Photography in Nashville and
has been on board with Harlow Salon for over a year.

Heather graduated from Macon County High School in 2001, Genesis Career College in 2006 and the Tennessee State
Board of Cosmetology for Instructors Jan 2008.
Heather began her journey in 2005 at Genesis Career Collage in Lebanon, TN. Shortly after enrolling she was
approached by the directors to become a junior Instructor in the program, which she proudly accepted. This opened
many doors. Also at this time a top-rated photography studio was seeking her to jump on board as a makeup artist and
hairstylist. This really brought Heather into the world of high fashion and print work. It was a real opportunity for
someone looking to get their portfolio started and gain knowledge from someone in the field with a ton of experience.
Heather realized that she needed a little more education and studied to attain her instructor's license from the state
board of Tennessee.

Heather specializes in color, cuts, and high fashion hairstyles and makeup artistry with a little twist. She enjoys all
genres of music. To get together with a few friends and attend a concert or a live band performance is her escape from
the work day. God and her family are her support from the soul and her career is her passion.
John Sherlock, a New Orleans native, has made his home in Nashville as a result of hurricane Katrina in 2005. He has
been rocking out sexy hair ever since. Determined to make an impact in the Nashville hair scene, John stays ahead of
the curve by using innovating cutting techniques, and his approach to color is truly trendsetting. Sought after for his
ability to create "funky rock star hair", he also specializes in creating natural looking hair with beautifully rich tones
that freely fall together.

Recently, John has become an educator for Sexy Hair products. When he's not rocking out some amazing hair at
Harlow, he enjoys traveling and teaching about the product line at various hair shows and conventions.

"I understand that hair is so tightly intertwined with the self esteem, and I love to do hair, because not only does it
make people feel beautiful on the outside, but it also does within. With in-depth consultations, I want to help you
create your vision in a way that best suits your needs." John nurtures to hair's integrity, " I believe sexy hair is
healthy hair!"
